I began singing and dancing in the womb...when I started kindergarten at 4 years old, I was always taking the lead in the shows and music events we had. Then, for my 7th birthday, my mother took me to see ANNIE on Broadway. I loved it and stayed up all night crying, "I want to be Annie! I want to be Annie!" After a few more years of dance lessons and doing plays at school and summer camp, my dream came true when I played Annie for a fantastic local theatre production. It was all over - I was hooked on theatre.
I continued doing shows throughout middle school and high school, and ultimately decided to study theatre in college. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in Acting from the Conservatory Drama Program at the University of Connecticut at Storrs.
After college I worked as a Talent Agent at three of the top talent agencies in the country where I loved helping other actors book jobs in commercials - Voice-Overs and On-Camera. I really enjoy being around creative types and it was fullfilling to know that the work I was doing helped them support their dream. I have also worked as an Advertising Account Executive and as an Executive Recruiter, so marketing and networking are stregths for me...but what I love most is entrenching myself in the creative process of theatre - whether it's as a performer, director, producer, stagehand or audience member. I'm also happy to refer other talent when a director is in a bind (I have some pretty darn talented friends!).
I am a hard-worker and strive to present the highest caliber work possible, no matter the scale of the project. If you have a project that you think could use my skills, connections and/or talents, please feel free to Contact me!
I am also a Founding Member and the Board President of a local theatre company in Connecticut - please click on the Bridgeport Theatre Company link to learn more.
